Sunday 19th August provided a golden opportunity to represent rural life without bigotry or prejudice.
Despite the weather several hundred visitors came along to a very traditional country fair on Romney Marsh.
Hunting was represented by the local foxhounds and beagles who paraded to a very warm welcome. All in all some 40 people took information with teh stated intention of making contact and coming out with hounds during the next season.
Why?
Calm, honest presentation of the facts - no secrets, no hidden agendas and a willingness to diarmingly agree to differ with those who visited merely to express their dislike.
